How to review an advertising balloon sightline
Pick a safe, stationary spot where customers approach on foot and take a wide photo toward the proposed display. Take a second photo at the entrance. Mark the intended viewing direction and obstacles on the copies you send to your supplier.

Photograph the approach and the arrival
Choose two places you can stand safely and have permission to use. Keep the horizon and entrance in frame so the person reviewing the photos can see the approach. Leave the photos unzoomed and send close-ups separately if they help.
Mark the obstructions and the proposed position
Sketch the display location on a copy of the wide photo. Mark trees, rooflines, overhead lines and nearby signs as context. Ask the supplier and property contact to review the actual location and setup separately.
Explain what the customer should notice
Say whether the job is to mark a driveway, point to an entrance or identify a business from across a lot. Give each photo a plain label such as “sidewalk approach” or “front entrance.” The supplier’s product guide shows spheres and custom shapes, so share the viewing goal before choosing a shape.

Frequently asked questions
Can I take the photo from my car?
Have someone take it from a safe stationary location. Use a suitable pedestrian area with a comparable view of the property.
Should I include a close-up?
Yes, if it clarifies an entrance or obstruction. Include the wide photo so the close-up has context.
Does the photo establish an approved display height?
Ask the supplier and relevant site contacts to confirm placement and any required approvals.
What if customers arrive from two directions?
Send one labeled photo from each useful approach and tell the supplier which one matters most.
